Airport convenience is the product

The official airport page lists Budget among the on-airport providers. That removes an off-airport transfer and can matter after a flight with luggage or children. Confirm the current counter location, hours, flight-delay handling, and after-hours return before treating convenience as guaranteed.

If the trip begins with several walkable Old Town days, price a later pickup or no car. Airport convenience has little value when the vehicle spends the stay in paid parking.

The number worth comparing

An airport quote is incomplete until it shows the base rate, tax, facility and concession charges, and the choices attached to this reservation. Those choices may include another or younger driver, a child seat, toll and fuel plans, coverage, a one-way return, or extra time. The same written total should state the deposit or card authorization. For a mainland or Lower Keys drive, mileage and geographic limits can change the comparison.

Coverage has no universal answer. A personal auto policy and a card benefit can change with the driver, vehicle, and trip; Budget's products have their own terms. The useful comparison is between answers supplied by the insurer, card issuer, and rental company for this booking.

What the reservation and the car must agree on

Flight and driver details get the booking to the right counter and rate: age, license country, and payment method matter. Passenger count and the load decide whether the class works. The phrase “or similar” leaves the model open, but it does not create room for luggage, a child seat, or mobility equipment that the vehicle cannot hold.

The parking space is where condition disputes are cheapest to prevent. Photos can establish the body, wheels, glass, interior, dashboard mileage, and fuel level before departure. Air conditioning, lights, mirrors, seat adjustment, and child-seat fit either work there or they do not. Keep the pickup record with the fuel and return record until the closing receipt arrives.
