The useful check happens when the quote arrives. See whether Hana's Amazing Cleaning Service, Inc. is named as the contractor, the insured business, and the party issuing the invoice. If a different trade name or payee appears, ask how it relates to the corporation before handing over a key or deposit. Florida's active status identifies a registered company; it does not grade the cleaning or prove that insurance and local tax records are current.

Treat steam and disinfecting language precisely

Ordinary cleaning removes dirt and many germs; disinfecting may be appropriate in specific circumstances, after cleaning, with a product suitable for the surface. The label controls dilution, wet contact time, ventilation, protective equipment and prohibited combinations. A company saying hospital grade or non-toxic does not replace those instructions. Customers with children, pets, respiratory sensitivities or stone and specialty finishes should list the constraint instead of requesting a vague green clean.

Ask which products the company supplies, whether substitutions occur, and who approves a product change. If the household supplies a product, confirm that the crew will use it only as directed and that it is compatible with the task. Never ask a worker to mix products. Some bad-looking results are condition problems rather than skipped work. The important distinction is whether the condition was identified, whether Hana's explained what was realistically cleanable, and whether extra work was approved before the price moved.

Ask for current insurance and local business-tax documentation, then run a paid first clean against the same checklist. That sequence produces evidence a homeowner can act on without pretending that uninspected reviews answer questions they do not.
